  If You Need a Minivan, Don’t Hire a Corvette | Avoid hiring just to hire. Refine ‘who’ you’re looking for based on the attitudes, values, beliefs, characteristics, and traits that work best for that role, and best align with your company culture. 

  Beware of the Purple Squirrel | While searching for your new controller, don’t require so many specifications that your pool of prospective hires is nonexistent. Refine who you’re looking by separating your wants in three categories: Required, Preferred, and Desired.

  Content Coding | Being equipped with the right interview questions is only half of the battle. Be sure you have a ‘Response Guide’ set so you’re able to score the potential hire’s responses against your ideal answers.
