While reflecting on the state of Gerber at this year’s annual retreat we were surprised and excited to uncover the makeup of our leadership team (made of majority women) and shed light on the fact that we are a female-dominated organization in a male-dominated industry. Pretty incredible.
 
At Gerber we make a conscious effort to embrace an inclusive culture, encouraging men and woman alike to uncover their leadership potential and excel in the workplace. In a male-dominated industry, such as ours, we feel we have the right to brag a bit.  

LEADERSHIP

In 2017 our team took the conscious effort to implement the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) to help define our organization during high growth. As a result, we took a long hard look and who we want and need in our company to help us succeed. Today, that looks like a leadership team made up of 60% women. All we can say so far is its working!
 
 
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES; MOMS MAKE ROCKSTAR TEAM MEMBERS
If you remember our 2014 cameo in Columbus CEO, we “…made a conscientious effort to hire moms looking to return to the workforce part time.” In return, we have developed a team of highly-experienced go-getters who are eager to share their knowledge.

COMMUNITY
Being an ally to females doesn’t end when we step outside of the Gerber office, our team works hard to integrate ourselves with female community leaders and organizations. Today, that means acting as a corporate sponsor to the local chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners(NAWBO).
