ROLE + KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Our Business Development (BD) Executive is responsible for leading Gerber, LLC's sales efforts by driving new client growth.

  • Identify, nurture and convert new business leads.
  • Operate as the relationship manager for Gerber prospects until they become a client
  • Act as a source of knowledge on Gerber processes and offerings, with the ability to articulate the benefits of becoming a client
  • Provide proactive, timely and clear communications internally and externally around the opportunity status of each prospective client and Strategic Partner. Follow up and follow through, every single time.
  • Own the outreach and follow-up to prospective clients and ensure everything is documented properly and in a timely manner. Be ready and willing to step up to the plate when outreach is needed and an opportunity to utilize a strategic partner arises
  • Ensure our Strategic Partners are knowledgeable in who we are, what we do and how they can refer business to Gerber

 

PREFERRED SKILLS + QUALIFICATIONS

  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • 5+ years experience operating in a business development role
